Early Packet Pick-up will be located at Raleigh Running Outfitters in Cary on the corner of 55 and High House between 4 and 6 pm on Friday October 26th.  You will be required to sign for any packets that you will be picking up and will be responsible for bringing your bib to the race on the 27th.  Game participants will pick-up health flags on the race day at check-in.

*Participants who will be unable to pick-up packet at this time will be able to pick it up at 8 AM on the race day.

This October, Fuquay-Varina will be transformed into a total playground for adults and children.  Beginning just after the vampires return to their coffins, the walking dead will overrun the streets searching for tasty brains.  The only question is will you be running, hunting, slaying, eating brains or be a hero during the 5k game?  Check out the different ways to participate.

If being part of a mob of cannibal corpses isn’t your thang (come on, you know it’s a guilty pleasure), there’s plenty more fun to be had.  Sneak into Strafe Gaming Lounge for some zombie (or not) video game play or join the wee zombie play zone for inflatable fun.  Heck, stand on the sidelines and cheer!

Whatever role you play, play it in costume because you’ll have a chance at a prize, plus it’s a second chance to wear your epic Halloween costume.

Raleigh Living Dead

Saturday, October 27th – 4pm until 11pm  

City Plaza, Downtown Raleigh   On Saturday, October 27th, City Plaza will be overtaken by Zombie and Halloween lovers for the first annual Raleigh Living Dead festival. This family friendly festival is uniting over 18 local organizations to produce Raleigh’s 1st ever, large-scale Halloween Festival.

Overtaking Downtown Raleigh’s City Plaza on Fayetteville Street, this giant event features a ReDress the Dead fashion show, Zombie Dance camp with a street-wide flash mob of “Thriller”, live music, a children’s zone, Zombie Circus street performances, vendor tents and food trucks, and the Zombie Olympic obstacle course. The festival will also showcase local arts & entertainment non-profits and businesses including The Raleigh Jaycees, North Carolina Performing Art’s Center, North Carolina State University College of Design, Cirque De Vol, and Legacy Event Planners to name a few.

Buying online is the only way to save $5 for the all-inclusive pass!  Walk-up all-inclusive passes will be  $10 for Little Walkers and $15 for Adults!
